My Sketches4All Challenge

Ok well it's going to be July tomorrow so i'm posting my 7/1 Scaplift challenge for Sketches4All today since for some of the girls on the site it is 7/1 already :) I picked up some new goodies from my LSS The Scrapbooking Studio and simply had a blast with this Pebbles Inc. Line!! LOVE IT!!! So here you go girls!!! Can't wait to see your creations.

Supplies used: Stampin' Up cardstock & ribbon and everything else is from Pebbles Inc. The paper is The Tree House Collection, some fun matching brads, and the rub-ons are FABULOUS, don't forget the Glitter Candy Dots also! One fabulous thing about the paper line is that strip at the bottom that you usually have to pitch because all of the manufactuer info is on it.....well it's only on 1 side of this paper....so yes ladies....you get to use the whole sheet of paper!!!!! WOOHOO :)

By the way ladies....Pebbles Inc. is having a DT call also. Check out the info here.

My First Just Imagine DT Projects...

So I recieved my goodies from Just Imagine the other day....and let me tell you....they are FABULOUS!!!!

I was so happy when I opened the box and saw the Kreaxions Circle Cutter!! WOOHOO!!!! I have been wanting a circle cutter for awhile now and it's perfect. I can finally put the plates back in the kitchen...no more tracing and trying to cut out circles!! For all of you ladies out there who use your dishes to cut circles....you HAVE to get one of these. It can cut up to 10" circles!!! It basically works just like a compass, super easy to use. And it's only $9.99!!!

On this layout I used it to make a larger circle.

Supplies: Stampin'Up cardstock, Pebbles Inc. pattern paper, dots, & rub-ons, American Crafts Thickers, Cosmo Cricket mini alphas, Maya Road mist, Prima flowers & pearls.

On the card I used the circle cutter to make a smaller circle and then lined it off the circle a little to make the boarder circle.

Supplies: Crate pattern paper, American Crafts Thicker, and Cosmo Cricket tiny type.

Ok ladies....hurry and grab your circle cutter now. I promise you will love it!!!

Funny pictures on layouts

Hey there everyone....well how important are picutres on your layouts to you??? Sometimes the picture is what draws you into the layout rather than the paper or embellies. Here is a perfect example of this. I created this layout and card for the DT at AWDML.

The picture in this layout was of my darling stepfather trying to immitate how big Elizabeth was at her baby shower. I think he's pretty close!!!

Here is a card I also made using my left over scraps.

Supplies used: Pink Paislee Queen Bee paper, matching ribbon and cork buttons, October Afternoon stickers and American Craft Thickers.

My first (of many) layouts of Marcos

This is a picture of Marcos having quality time with his aunt Ariel.....

I used fun funky bright paper from Bo Bunny - the Sun Kissed line , American Craft thicker for the bracket, Cosmo Cricket tiny type, October Afternoon letters, Maya Road clock & bingo number, Prima flower, and a Kaiser Craft pearl. I also used a little smooch mist on the background.

Here he is.......

Ok everyone......here is my perfect little grandson!!! I can't wait to get some pictures uploaded so I can scrapbook him :)

Everything went so well last night. Elizabeth and Luis did wonderful and Ariel was fabulous! Elizabeth did get an epidural and Ariel really stepped up to help during that. Luis got light headed and dizzy and has to sit down with a cool rag on his head so Ariel helped hold her up for that! I'm so proud of both of them....

Everyone is doing great today. Elizabeth has sent a couple pics of him this morning and she couldn't sleep since he wasn't in the room. She had the nurses bring him in at 4 this am.

He is perfect. :) We just got back and i'm super tired so i'll post a picture tomorrow!!! Ariel was wonderful and was in the room with her big sis and brother-in-law the entire time!!! I asked Ariel what she thought and she said.....it looked like it hurt ALOT!!! :)
