PDCC 162 } Jenni Bowlin

Hello everyone, today is the day to share the new color challenge at The Play Date Cafe!  Super fun colors to create with this week.

The wonderful sponsor this week who shared some super cool stamps with us is Jenni Bowlin.

For my take on this challenge I created a tag.  The inks I used on the tag are Distress Ink from Ranger (shaded lilac & peacock feathers)  I stained the ribbon with Ranger Distress stain (peacock feathers), misted the tag with a little perfect pearls mist (heirloom gold) inked the edges of the tag with distress ink and added a little gold embossing poweder around the outside.  The Jenni Bowlin stamps I used were Important Fill In & Typewriter.  I stamed the Fill In stamp as a background using sepia archival ink & the typewriter was stamped using archival black ink. I used Juniper acrylic paint and used the lid of the dobber and stamped a couple of circles on the tag.

Thanks for stopping by today, hop on over to The Play Date Cafe and check out what all of the DT has created.

Cycling with Little Yellow Bicycle

Today is the day that I get to share with you the project I created with the Winterings line for Little Yellow Bicycle as part of the Winterings Cycling Team.

I simply adore this line, the colors are fabulous not mention all of the fun embellies...and LOVE the burlap mini album!!

So here is what my cover looks like.

I will share a couple the inside pages, but you can hop on over to the Little Yellow Bicycle blog and see the some of the  album.
I love a chunky album, here is a side view.

I love this page...and a big thanks to my SIL for letting me scrap some of her winter photos :)  Here is what the right side of the page looks like when it is opened.

Ok now hop on over to the Little Yellow Bicycle blog and let me know what you think of the album.

Thanks to LYB for having me on the Winterings Cycling team, it was so much fun to create with this line.

Holiday Ornament Time } Xyron & Teresa Collins

Hello everyone!!  Well it's the busy crazy time of year.  Let's see how i'm doing with getting things done for the holidays....cards (not handmade I bought them and they are still in the box ), baking (not so much), decorating (we did get the tree up), and gifts....all bought ( I wrapped one and put it under the tree, left the house for 5 minutes to find the puppy wanted to know what was in it and started chewing the box and paper so I haven't wrapped anything else :)

That being said I did manage to rock out this super fabulous ornament.   I love all of the metal stars and when I came across this it was begging to be altered!

I used Teresa Collins Chrsitmas Cottage for the paper line, cut all the pieces and ran them through my Xyron 510....this made it super easy.  I tied a couple of jingle bells at the top and hung it up right away.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Christmas Cottage Photo Holder

Hello everyone, today is my day up over at Teresa Collins Designs.  I was in the Christmas mood so I altered some wooden blocks, and made a Christmas photo holder.

Here is the finished project!

I love the added rustic jingle bells and the super fun clothespins that match perfectly.  I used my Xyron 510 machine which made putting this together super easy.

You can hope on over to the Teresa Collin's Designs blog for step by step instructions.

Hope you have a wonderful day!
