Petaloo Fun!!

Hey there everyone, I just wanted to share my post with you as a Guest Designer for Petaloo!!  I was super excited to created with all of their amazing goodies! Thank you so much to the Petaloo family for having me as a Guest Designer!

I know Christmas is over, but you always take so many photos during the Holiday celebration I wanted to share a fun little mini album that I created for those special photos.  For this mini album I used the paper collection from Graphic 45 Twelve Days Of Christmas along with the Kraft Envelope Album.  You put that line together with all of the amazing Petaloo flowers and WOW...what a beauty!
12 Days of Christmas 1
I of course always love to hang trims and trinkets on the spirals of my mini albums.  On this album I used the Fancy Trims ~ Crocheted Lace (green) and a mixture of Graphic 45 chipboard pieces along with some of the metal staples.
12 Days of Christmas 2
The beautiful flowers I picked to place on the cover are Chantilly Collection Mixed Blooms (red/burgandy), Velvet Hydrangeas (red) and Textures Collection Mixed Layers (moss green).
12 Days of Christmas 3
While I was working on my projects for this post the Christmas cards were coming in the mail.  I really didn't know where I was going to display them this year.  I had this basket that was not really holding anything, so I of course thought....oh this would be beautiful with some of the flowers on the front, so I did a little altering!

I don't want to even pack this away with all the other Holiday decorations! I'm totally digging the Feathers!! I added some Botanica Floral Ephemera (cranberry), Chantilly Collection Velvet Hydrangeas (red), and also Textured Mixed Blossoms in (ivory).

Now that the busy Holiday season is over the new year will be here before we know it!  I was in need of a new 2014 planner so I created this one using Graphic 45 Typography & Staples along with all of my Petaloo goodies!  I picked up the Typography line at The Scrapbooking Studio along with the Tim Holtz cover that I created this with.

Last but not least, I am thinking of the next Holiday coming up already.  I grabbed the new amazing paper collection from Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments and created this Valentine's Day tag.  The Feathers were the perfect embellishment to give the angel!!  I also loved the Botanica  Minis (ivory) on this tag!

30 Day of Holiday Projects with Xyron } Handmade Tags

Hey there everyone, thanks for stopping by today.  This month we are creating 30 Days Of Holiday projects with Xyron.  There have been so many amazing projects that the design team has come up with.  Today I'm going to share with you how fun, quick and easy it is to make your own tags.

First you want to gather all of your supplies.  I'm using Studio Calico paper and embellishments from American Craft that they sent all of us to create with.

I took the pattern paper and cut it into 6x6 pieces.  I have a fabulous tag die from Sizzix that worked perfectly, it cuts out 3 different size tags.  The die is Tags, Scallop Combo #2.  I am going to use one of all three sizes to create each gift tag.

I took the smallest of the three tags and ran it through my Xyron 3" sticker maker.

Using my Teresa Collins Xyron Mega Runner I placed adhesive on half of  the back of the medium size tag.

I then started layering the tags on top of one another changing the direction of the tags as I went.

Now it's time to embellish the tags how you want.  You can see that I also tied some Twinery Twine through the top of the tag.  This will also help if you need to tie the tag onto a gift.

Supplies Used:
Xyron - 3" sticker maker & Teresa Collins Mega Runner
The Twiney - Cream & Solid Peapod twine
Sizzix -Tags, Scallop Combo #2
Studio Calico - Magical Collection

Believe } Heidi Swapp & Xyron Swap

Hey there everyone thanks for stopping by today.  Xyron and Heidi Swapp are teaming up for a super fun week of inspiration.  I was lucky enough to get the cool new Holiday collection from Heidi Swapp Believe!  I love this Christmas collection.....the colors and design, not to mention the embellies are simply fabulous!

I created a December Daily for this one.  I will share a couple of photos with you.  The inside obviously has not photos yet, but I will be journaling away and snapping photos for the month!

Here is what the cover looks like.  The cover itself is made from chipboard and the inside I used the Tim Holtz binder.  I love the fun glitter borders that go with this collection.  You can see I used the paper frames on the front, perfect for highlighting the year!  I did a little die cutting with some Sizzix dies for accents in the corner as well.

You can see below day one and two are simply ready for photos!!  The Countdown paper in this collection just screams December Daily!!!  The Jingle All The Way paper has the most amazing cut outs perfect for journaling spots to put all through your album! I used my Xyron Mega Runner to adhere my photo mats to the pages and the foam squares from the TC Adhesive kit to pop up all of the numbers and images cut from the pattern paper.

The Heidi Swapp banners make great little inserts all through your albums.  You can mist them or simply add a saying to them as I have done below.

For the last page I created a tag to insert for December 25th.  I'm thinking of making this back page a pocket since I will have tons of photos of Christmas day.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and a huge thanks to Heidi Swapp for sharing her fabulous products with us to play with!

Supplies Used:
Xyron - Mega Runner, TC Adhesive Kit
Heidi Swapp - Believe Collection, Paper Frames, Banners
Ranger - Distress Ink Walnut Stain
