Art Journal Tutorial } Art Anthology

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by today.  I'm going to share with you a page that  I created in my art journal using the fabulous Art Anthology goodies that I have.  For this page I created a page in my smaller art journal.  I have uploaded a video to the Art Anthology YouTube channel and you can also see this video on my personal YouTube channel.  I had a little issue with the very end of the video but the only thing you will miss is the spreading of the Art Anthology Dimensional Crystal.

Here is what my finished art journal page looks like.

I started the page by applying Art Anthology gesso and letting it dry before I went any further.  Next it's simply all about adding layers of paints, using stencils and of course stamping.  Below is a link to my video.

Supplies Used:
Art Anthology Velvet Dimensional Paints (Fiesta, Mayan Gold, Fiji, Desire & Cotton)
Art Anthology Sorbet Dimensional Paint (June Bud)
Art Anthology Dimensional Crystal (Blizzard)
Stampers Anonymous Stamp Set (Tim Holtz Good Thoughts)
Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Stencil - Bubble
Ranger - Black Jet Archival Ink
Wendy Vecchi Stencil - Large Heart

You can find all of these products locally at The Scrapbooking Studio.  For all of you that are not local, you can order online at The Scrapbooking Studio website...plus there is free shipping with orders of $50 or more.

Thanks so much for stopping by, hope you have a wonderful day!

I'm loving the fun things you can do with the Die-Namite dies and The Splash Of Color goodies, they are simply AMAZING!!!  I created this little Valentine's Day card for a special someone!

The base of the card is made with Kraft cardstock.  The pattern paper is Splash Of Colors Cotswald Manor.  The design, quality and colors are simply fabulous and perfect for Valentine's Day!   One of the pattern papers is a wonderful sheet full of images that you can cut out to make your own embellishments.  The super cool heart in the middle is the Die-Namite die Elegant Heart Frame and how about the pop of red shimmer on it!!!!  That is  Viva Colour  ~ Lava Red.  I added some inking to the edges of the card, pearls and a little cheese cloth under the pattern papers.

I would like to give a huge thanks to Die-Namites & Splash Of Color for asking me to be part of such an amazing blog hop!

Refill your coffee, sit back and hop on over to the super creative Peggy Baker's blog and see what she has in store for you!

Cherish } Art Journal Page

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by!  Today i'm sharing a page from my art journal using some of the fabulous Art Anthology products.

I came across the saying in the middle of the page and thought it worked perfectly with the words "Cherish & love".

"Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairy tale."

So to start my journal page I used the Art Anthology Coloration Sprays (Paprika, Waimea Bay, Sangria & Timeless).  Once I was happy with the background it was time to get stamping.

I used Ranger Black Archival Ink to stamp.  Of course the stamp sets are Stampers Anonymous (Tim Holtz Classics #8 & Mini Cirque Alpha) (Dyan Reaveley Further Around The Edge & Word Love).  Once I had finished stamping I used Art Anthology Velvet Dimensional Paint (Mayan Gold), dipped one of the Coloration Spray lids into the paint and stamped circles in the corner.  I added a little Fiesta paint in a couple places also.  To finish the page I used Peacock Feather Coloration Spray.  I unscrewed the lid and splattered the color on the page.

You can grab all of these fabulous Art Anthology products along with the stamp sets online at The Scrapbooking Studio.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed my art journal page!

Love Album } Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments

Hey there everyone, thanks for stopping by today.  I'm sharing a mini album that I created today for The Scrapbooking Studio....it's the perfect little mini to place the photos of your sweetheart in it.  I always save the packaging from all of my Graphic 45 Staples that I use....they are perfect to use in your projects.  Some of the pages of this album are created using them.

On the cover you can see lots of fun goodies.  Graphic 45 Staples, and of course amazing Petaloo flowers.  The binding was done using the We R Memory Keepers Cinch machine.  I tied some ribbon trims on the coils and also added a few of the chipboard pieces from the Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments collection.

Now for a peak at the inside....

You can see there are lots of little pockets and belly bands to hold photo mats and journaling spots. I embellished this pages with a few pearls, Petaloo flowers and some flashcards to spell out "love".

The new pockets and tags with all of the Graphic 45 collections make excellent inserts into any projects!  It's hard to tell but alot of the images are popped up on all of the pages.

I tied seam binding through each tag to help dress up the album.

Supplies Used:
Graphic 45 - Sweet Sentiments, Staples
Xyron - Mega Runner, Foam Squares & High Tack Tape
Petaloo - Faux Dried Alephemera (Cranberry), Mixed Textured Layers (Amber)
Ranger - Walnut Stain Distress Ink
Seam Binding

Make sure you hop on over and check out the online store for The Scrapbooking Studio and grab your Graphic 45 goodies to create your own Love Album.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, have a wonderful day!
