Altered Glass Jar } Xyron Fun

Hey there everyone thanks for stopping by today.  Xyron has been having fun finding things on Pinterest that were created without Xyron products but should be :)  So our challenge was to find something and create it of course using our amazing Xyron goodies!!  Here is the altered glass jar/candle holder that I found and you can find it HERE!!

Votive candle holders made with $ tree vases, and printed vellum pictures, wrapped around vase.

So i put my thinking cap on and had this glass jar that I store some of my metal embellishments in. Here is a little step by step for you.

Gather all of you goodies that you need to create this.

Using your Xyron 1/2" High Tack tape adhere your ribbon or burlap of fabric whatever you like to your jar.

Next adhere you flowers onto the jar using the liquid adhesive from the Xyron Teresa Collins Adhesive Kit.  I used a mixture of Petaloo flowers for this one.

Here is my final project!

Supplies Used:
Petaloo- Spring Berry Clusters (ivory),Mixed Texture Layers (Amber), leaves from Faux Dried Blooms
Misc burlap ribbon

Thanks so much for stopping by today, hope you try some of the fabulous creations the Xyron team had re-created, have a fabulous day!

Creating with Xyron & Anna Griffin

Hey there everyone, thanks for stopping by today.  Anna Griffin was kind enough to send some of her goodies to the Xyron design team to create with. You can check out her amazing new products premiering on HSN during 24-hour craft day on Monday March 24th.  Click HERE to get to Anna's HSN page to check out all of her new creations.

I simply love the box set of pattern papers and the die cut tags that came in this set!!  You won't believe how many tags are in this box!!  By the way, just FYI when you are done creating with these products the box will calling your name to alter (I may place my left overs in a bag so I can alter the box now)!!

Here is the card that I created.  I did a little fussy cutting on this one.  The flowers in the corner came from one of the 6x6 pattern papers in the set.  The fun little butterflies and the sentiment live, love, laugh I cut out of a couple of the amazing tags in the collection.  To adhere my base pattern paper down along with the tag in the center of the card I used my Xyron Mega Runner.  The flowers & butterflies are popped up using the sqaure foam dots from the Xyron Teresa Collins Adhesive Kit.

Thank you to Anna Griffin for sharing your amazing new goodies with us.  Don't forget to check out all of these new products on Anna's HSN page HERE!!

Graphic 45 Design Team 2014 Audition

Hey there everyone and thanks for stopping by today.  Welcome to my Graphic 45 Design Team 2014 Audition.  Well as you all know I simply adore Graphic 45 products and could not wait for this call to come around again....it's been a long year!!  If you love Graphic 45 products you should submit....you can read more about the call HERE on the Graphic 45 blog.
This post is going to be a little on the long side but I don't want to leave anything out.  I hope that my projects inspire you and you have any questions about anything I created or how I did something please send me an email to srod74@mchsi.com . Well grab some coffee, sit back and enjoy!

Up first we have a fun mini album using one of the Graphic 45 Tag Albums.  I also save all of the packaging from the Graphic 45 Staples so you will see that mixed in this one as well for some fun additional pages.  This album was created using the Sweet Sentiments collection and geared toward Valentine's or Love.  On the cover I added some of the Staples goodies, the binding was done using the Cinch machine, and ribbons, metal embellishments and Graphic 45 chipboard are tied on to the binding. I couldn't resist adding some of the fabulous Petaloo flowers that go oh so well with all of the Graphic 45 lines.

I'm totally loving the new Book Boxes and was able to get my hands on one along with the new By The Sea collection and created this fun altered box.  I love all of the shells that you can cut out of this line!

On of my favorite projects is this altered mailbox I created using The Twelve Days Of Christmas collections.  This project stands 17 inches tall and yes it really even opens!  I embellished this project with some of the amazing die cuts flowers and chipboard pieces from this collection.  You will also see some of the Graphic 45 Staples as well.
Everyone always needs a planner, so when the Typography collection came out that is what I created to keep track of things.  I think I have an addiction to the Graphic 45 Staples....which is not a bad thing I just simply love that vintage feel they add to everything!

Tags....oh yes I love tags!!  Up next are a few tags that I have created.  The fist one is using the collection that Graphic 45 and Echo Park teamed up to create Transatlantique.
A fun little Valentine tag is up next using Sweet Sentiments.

A tag for every month using A Place In Time collection....one of my favorites!!

Someone brought this fabulous wooden cigar box to me at the store and said here I know you can make something really cool out of this!  Steampunk Spells was the perfect collection for this one, I added some fun Art Part gears to the top of this along with a glass bottle with a little 'love potion" inside!

I couldn't let the Christmas Holiday get away without having a fun little mini album to put some of the photos in using a Graphic 45 Envelope Album. The chipboard pieces work so well as embellishments on the binding of mini albums, simply place a jump ring through them and you are good to go! I added some Petaloo flowers and trims to this one.
Ok hang in there.....only a few more photos!!  These next three photos are of a monthly layout and card class that I teach.  The girls had so much fun with the layout and card class designed by Graphic 45 that they wanted to continue it this year along with the mini album class that Graphic 45 is designing every month.
The layouts are using Sweet Sentiments and Mother Goose collections.

Ok so if you made it through my super long post I REALLY appreciate it!  Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think.
Thanks so much to Graphic 45 for making such amazing collections and products to design with and thanks to everyone for stopping by my Graphic 45 Design Team 2014 Audition!
