#determined } Art Journal

Hey there everyone, thanks for stopping by today.  I have created an art journal page to share with you today using the super fun products from Art Anthology.  I created this page to help me stay focused and determined on some fitness goals and changing some of my not so healthy habits.

I first started by spraying water all over both pages, then grabbed my Colorations Sprays and misted colors here and there on the page.  The colors I used are Glorious, Heart & Juicy,  Next I grabbed my stencils and Art Anthology gesso to create the days of the week on the left side of the page.  Once the gesso was dry I stamped some images using Archival ink along with a couple of Stampers Anonymous sets (Mini Classics & Word Text). Here is how my journal pages turned out.

So once I was done stamping I then took my white signo gel pen and drew some circles and arrows on the page.  I wanted a little pop of orange so I grabbes another stencil along with the Tango Velvet Dimensional Paint for that.

Hopefully this journal page will help me stay focused and determined!!

Supplies Used:
Art Anthology - gesso, Tango Velvet Dimensional Paint, Colorations Sprays (Glorious, Heart & Juicy)
Stampers Anonymous - Mini Classics & Word Text
Signo - White gel pen

Thanks so much for stopping by today, maybe this will help some of you stay focused on your goals!

Bag Tag Fun For Kids

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by today.  I have a fun and easy kids craft project to share with you today using some Xyron & Petaloo goodies.  The Summer is coming to an end quickly which means school is just right around the corner.  I have a fun project for the kids to do these last few weeks of Summer.  Every kid could use a bag tag for the backpack this upcoming year.

First gather some goodies....I'm using a luggage tag from Xyron along with the adhesive dots, amazing fabric brites from Petaloo and a scrap of Carta Bella paper I had.

Now cut your paper to fit into the luggage tag and round the two bottom corners.  Open the luggage tag and set the paper inside.  Now pull off the paper (on the right side in photo below) and that will adhere to the pattern paper.

Grab some stickers out of your stash and the child can customize the tag by spelling out their name.

Now it's time to "cute it up" and add some flowers.  I adhered these to the tag using Xyron adhesive dots.

Supplies Used:
Petaloo - Fabric Brites
Carta Bella pattern paper

Thanks so much for stopping by today, have a good one!!

Beautiful Moments } Basically Bare

Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by today.  I'm sharing a mini album that I created using a fun mini album from Basically Bare along with The Story Of Us collection from Simple Stories along with a few embellishments from Petaloo and May Arts.  How about we start with the cover of the album.  I have inked all of the pattern paper with Ranger Distress Ink (Walnut Stain) and placed everything down on the album using my Xyron Mega Runner.  To adhere the flowers I used the Xyron high tack glue dots.

Now for the inside of the album.....tons of pockets (including the envelopes inside of the mini album).

You can see I cut all of the 3x4 and 4x6 elements from the collection and place them in the album as smaller pages.

Some of the pages I turned into pockets which are perfect for you to place photo mats and journaling cards inside.

This album would make the perfect one of a kind wedding gift for the new couple.

Supplies Used:
Simple Stories - The Story Of Us
May Arts - Ribbon

Thanks for stopping by today, hope you have an amazing day!

On the photo I used one of the super cool overlays that came with the paper collection.  To adhere everything together I used my Xyron Mega Runner.  You can see I added a fun tag to this layout and placed the beautiful May Arts ribbon through the tag.  The flashcard and the element card under it on the tag I used the foam squares from the Xyron Teresa Collins Adhesive Kit to pop those up.

Christmas In July

Hey there everyone, I have a fun project to share with you.  I know it's a little early, but how about a Christmas in July post for you!!!  Sometimes it's better to get your projects done a little early since the Holiday time is so crazy busy.  I created this fun countdown to Christmas using one of the Artful Binders from Basically Bare.  There are lots of yummy photos of this.....i mean it is 25 pages :)
So lets start with the cover.  I painted the cover with Art Anthology white gesso, then inked all the edges brown.  I cut the pattern paper about 1/4" smaller then the cover adhered it with my Xyron adhesive and went to town decorating.  The fabulous bow I made using May Arts ribbon.
