My prize!!!!

OMG!!!! I got the coolest pack for my prize today at Scrapaganza. I picked out the new line from Reminisce "Road Signs". I will take a pic of it tomorrow and post it. I plan on using it for our road trip we are taking tomorrow.

Going overseas

This is a card I made for my aunt who is a nurse in Saudi Arabia. I miss her all the time. I think she is coming home for her yearly visit in Sept so if I send it now it will make it to her before she leaves. It is made with stampin' up paper and the new in colors.

New Style

Well Ariel is starting Jr. High in 1 week and she wanted a new hair style. We went to the mall today and she got 5 inches cut off, and got layers. Looks pretty cute. She is so excitied. She said she wanted something different. I guess this it where it all begins huh!!!! Shouuld be an exciting year!

Dancing Dads

This is a pic of the dads at Ariel's dance academy. They practice a dance routine for 6 weeks before the recital and then perform. This year they danced to Beyonce' "All the single ladies". Yep you guessed it....they were ladies!!!!! I laughed so hard my stomach hurt and I was crying. They are such good sports.

Last day of 6th grade

Thought this would be a good layout for today. This is Ariel and her 6th grade teacher on graduation day. Today she begins a new chapter in her life as a junior high student, and later this year as a teenager!!!!! OMG!!! I have a teenager.....Will let you know how registration goes. I'm sure so won't let me take the camera with. Thats so uncool now!

Registration....

WOW!!! We register Ariel for junior high tomorrow. My little punky is growing up. Wow do I feel old.

Memo board..

This is a memo board for my scrapbook room. It's on a cookie sheet so I can have magnets if needed. I just loved the colors and pattern of this paper. It's by bobunny.

Family reunion

This was our group picture from Tim's family reunion yesterday. It was a fabulous time. I think there were around 150 people in the pic.

Deal of the day!!!!

I was at , of all places, Hy-Vee in Rock Island grocery shopping and there they were!!!! Best of all......$2.39 each.....I was on cloud 9..

BUSY... Saturday

My plan for today...Go find 2 b-day presents, make 2 cards, family reunion @ 1-?,goto scrapbook store(i will do this one first!!),and do laundry (i will do this one last)!!! If I can get home by 7 tonight I should have time to play. May have to stop at starbucks and get a little pick me up.

Photogenic.....

Well this week is the National competition for StarQuest Dance. Ariel had won the photogenic for teen/senior here in Davenport at their regional dance competition her photo went on to nationals...(which is this week)....Tonight they are judging the teen/senior division. Maybe she'll be picked...We should know something by this weekend. I'm not sure when they post the winners but I will keep you updated. She would be so excitied. (so would the photographer, her daddy). Wish her luck.

Well I had some good mojo going last night. Then it happened. Tim brought home Whitey's ice cream and after I ate my shake I was done for!!! My plan for today is to try and pick up where I left off at yesterday. I need to make a thank you card for our new neighbor. She made us brownies the other day. I also have 1 more birthday card to make for July. (that one I can't post until after Christina's birthday) Sorry no sneak peaks Christina!!!! Hope you all have a creative day!

Time 2 krump....(krump is a style of hip hop dance) Ariel did a dance workshop with Sara from So you think you can dance! She had a blast. When Sara was younger she went to the dance studio where Ariel goes. Sara came back to do a workshop just for the Academy girls.

Baby journal

This was a journal I made for a girl at work. It was going to be her first baby. She had her weds. night after 2 days of labor. The "a" is for her first name which is Amira. I'm sure after 2 days of labor she will have plenty to journal about.
