Kettle Korn

Layout I did for Posh Design. I used the sketch challenge # 14 on their forum. Basic grey June Bug paper is my paper of choice for this to help brighten up my pics. One of the many fabulous things you can find at the apple orchard is fresh kettle korn.

Halloween is around the corner!!

Here is a card I made for Halloween!! It won't be long now! I used some Cosmo Cricket that I had left from last year.

Oh Boy!!!

I have the hardiest time making cards for boys!! My nephew's 4th birthday was this weekend and this is what I came up with for it. There are no flowers, and buttons, or foofoo stuff on it. I think it works!

Game Day

Here's a picture of Ariel and one of her cheer friends at the game on Saturday. What a beautiful day for a game. Edison won both 7th and 8th grade against East Moline. 7th grade blew them out of the water. 8th grade was alot closer and a longer game. One of our players had to have the paramedics called because he broke his leg. Hope he is doing well. Now he'll have a cast on his arm and leg!!! Poor kid.

What a week

Wow it's Wed night already and I have no idea where the week has gone. Monday....cheerleading practice then off to dance. Tue 4 hours at football games, Wed cheerleading practice, homework and off to dance. Well i'm off to try and post a project over at Posh Designs....Come check it out!

Thinking of U

This is a card I made for my sister. She started U of I 2 1/2 weeks ago. The first week she did not get any mail and made sure to tell me about it. The second week she got 2 cards in the mail (neither of which were from me). She really let me know about that!

Kim's sketch @ Posh Designs

This is my take on Kim's sketch over @ Posh Designs. I used some sassafras pattern papers, some ribbon. I also embossed the stamp on the front.

Peak

Ariel got a new computer and she cut a hole for the cat to get in and out. Well Luis wanted to play in it to. I had to do something with this pictures since it was so cute!! ICSketches DT Challenge

I made this card to enter for a Design Team Challenge at ICSketches. This is the christmas paper I got for cards this year. The paper is from My Minds Eye. Love the bright fun colors. You know I like the funky stuff!!!

Photo session with my hubby!!

My husband did a photo session for me today. The piture I had on my profile was way old....so I needed a new one. I wanted a urban, grunge type of look. My new profile pic is one of them. We went downtown Davenport and looked for run down buildings and found a good one in an alley. There are a couple more I really like but they are not ready for me to upload. I also climbed on my first train today and took some pics on it also.

Ariels game pics

These are just a couple of pics. They don't have their uniforms yet because they are outdated so they will be having a fundraiser to get them. The shirts they have on are what they have to wear to school on game day.

Design Team

I had a fabulous day today and a day of firsts. Ariel had her first football game as a cheerleader which was just great. Edison (Ariel's school) kicked butt 50 - 36 or something like that. Then I came home to find out that I made the design team for Posh Scrapbook Store. I am so excited!!!
