Brr....it's cold outside
Well our nice weather has finally gone. It has been cold & windy here the past couple of days. This only means one thing.....winter is on it's way. I thought....well why not try and get in the spirit so I altered a paper mache cone and wooden star to look like a tree. I grabbed some paper & mod podge and got messy!
This was the first time I have made a tree out of paper. I simply loved the Wintertime line by Echo Park so that is the paper I used. The cone I grabbed at Hobby Lobby along with the wooden star on the top. The paper strips are cut to 1" x 3" and I just curled up the end of the paper before putting it on the cone. It's really simple....just start at the bottom and work your way up. I may take a while, but the outcome is totally worth it.

Good Times
Check out this fabulous, fun, funky paper. I am soooo loving these clocks!!!!
This is a layout I created for The Scrapbooking Studio in Moline, Il. This line is by Teresa Collins and it's called Freestyle. I simply love the colors in this line. I also used part of the strip at the bottom of the paper with the barcode on it, which is the 2 black & white strip of paper on the layout. By the way......OMG....Teresa Collins is coming there Nov5 & 6 . Sign up for her fabulous classes soon before they are all sold out! It will be a blast. I added some American Crafts thickers and October Afternoon letters to the layout, and a little bit of black bling, Xyron adhesive.

Hello everyone hope you have had a fabulous weekend. My project for today is a winter wall hanging. While making this wall hanging I needed something fun for the mittens. I thought....hello...my Kreaxion punches would make a great mitten design. So to make the zig zag marks across my mittens I used punch #304. It worked perfectly!
The big snowflakes are made out of wood and I picked them up at Hobby Lobby. The smaller snowflakes I cut using the cricut expression. The fun little mittens are from Maya Road and of course the new Echo Park Wintertime collection is the paperline. Add a little distess ink, Prima pearls, and some fun letters and there you have a perfect wall hanging ready to hang for our midwest winter.

25 Days of Christmas Album
So this is something I have never done. I thought this year it would be a fun thing to try. Of course I want my book done before December 1, however it's hard to decorate each page not knowing what will be going on the page yet. I did however get the cover of my book done as one of my DT projects at A Walk Down Memory Lane.
Supplies used on this project: Echo Park Everybody Loves Christmas line, American Crafts thickers, My Little Shoebox mini alphas, Ranger stickles, pearls, Xyron adhesive.
So....if you have never done this project before either....grab your book and get started!

Misting fun....
Hey there everyone, well you all know it seems all of my projects have some type of mist on them all the time. This time...I misted the entire piece of cardstock. Super fun :) This layout is one of my DT projects for AWDML.
So my obsession has grown this week! It use to me just a little mist here and there, well not anymore. The background cardstock on the layout started off as a kraft color.
You can simply use a single color of mist up to however many you want on your creations. Thats what makes it super fun!!! I use to be very sparing with my mist....now I spray so much that it makes puddles on my page. You know what it's perfectly ok...it's not going to mess up your paper. You simply take your heat gun out and set it and it's good as new. It maybe a little wrinkled but I just put a heavy book on it for a bit before creating on it.
On this layout I used the following four colors: Olive vine, Pomegranate, Apple, & Raven. Simply spary your page a let the colors run together for a couple of minutes. Next grab your heat gun and dry your page. You never know what knid of cool background your going to come up with. Give it a try ladies.....you will love it!!!!
Supplies used:
Cardstock, Tattered Angels mists ,Pink Paislee Hocu Pocus paper, canvas & rub ons, Prima flower & bling , October Afternoon letters , Maya Road clock , American Crafts Thickers

More misting fun....
Ok so i'm working on my mini album today and wanted to make a tag. I'm totally loving how the background turned out!!
The colors of Tattered Angels mists I used on this tag were Pomegranate, Apple, Olive Vine & Raven. I just misted the colors and let them run together for a minute before heat setting them. Next added a Pink Paislee rub on, some ribbon and inked the edges with Black Soot distress ink.

Mini Pumpkin Album
Hey there everyone...i've been working on a mini album. The album itself is not done yet, but the cover is. I had so much fun with the cover.
On the cover of the chipboard album I misted with Tattered Angels glimmer mist: Olive Vine, Apple & Pomegranate. After it dried I used Rockin' On Sunshine Tattered Angels glam over the top. Once this was dry I did a little decorating with some Pink Paislee Hocus Pocus canvas and rub ons. I also added the year using October Afternoon numbers. I will post the rest of the album when it is done!
Have a wonderful day!

Thinking of you....
Made this card for a friend hoping it brings a smile to her face.
I did a little stamping on the pattern paper with my stampin' up wheel before placing it on the card. Added some ribbon, and cut out a couple of flowers to pop up. Then had to use my I-rock tool to add some bling.
Supplies: Stampin' Up cardstock & wheel, Echo Park Life Is Good paper, ribbon, i-rock and American Crafts adhesive.
