PDCC } 141

Swinging into another fabulous color challenge over at The Play Date Cafe!  Loving this week's colors again....Jax totally rocks getting these colors ready for us!

The sponsor this week is DRS Designs...loved creating with the stamps that I got this time around!

So my take on this challenge was fun for me.  Yes you know I love to create tags...this time I left some "white space" on the tag which is different for me.  Here is the tag I created.

So of course I used stamps from DRS Designs, Ranger Ink (archival Rose Madder, Jet Black, Chrome Yellow) , (Distress Ink Squeezed Lemonade), Faber-Castell (artist pen big brush - pink, artist pen lt greenish/blue) Acrylic Paint - Juniper.

So make sure you stop over at The Play Date Cafe blog and check out all of the fabulous creations for this week's color challenge.

Have a fabulous day!

Summer lovin' } Nikki Sivils

Happy mid week everyone!  Today is my turn over on the Nikki Sivils blog.  The projects that I created today I used the fun Summer line, along with some cord brads, burlap buttons, and a couple differnet chipboard albums!

Up first a fun little ice cream card gift holder, embellished with Cappucino twine from The Twinery, and a super cute burlap button of Nikki's.

No summer is complete without a little pool fun.  Here is a layout of the grandkids coolin' off outside.

Love the fun camera's on this line...perfect to cut out and pop up!

I'm working on a little mini album also and you can check out what I have done so far by stopping by Nikki's blog today!

Thanks for stopping by,

Xyron & Trinity Paper Arts } Making The Team

Good morning everyone.  Xyron & Trinity Paper Arts are teaming up this week for a week full of inspiration.  This was the first time I had worked with Trinity Paper Arts and the "Teaming Up" line that I had to work with was perfect for my daughters cheer photos.

I created this layout of my daughter cheering at a Varsity game as a Freshman last year.  Little did she know that everytime RIHS scored....well the girls did push up for every point!!!  RIHS won big that night so her arms got a good workout!!

I created the banner pieces out of strips of paper.  Once I had cut them to the size I wanted I ran them through my Xyron 150 which made them super easy to place on the layout, using the Xyon Mega Runner to adhere all the rest.

Here are a couple of close up photos for you.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, and a big thanks to Trinity Paper Arts for sharing some goodies with us at Xyron!

This week we have a wonderful guest designer...please stop by The Play Date Cafe blog and welcome Teri Anderson.

Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp

Simon Says Stamp

Ok now for my take on this challenge.  I created a card and I can say I simply love the way it turned out.

I used my Xyron adhesive of course to adhere this card together.  The pattern paper is Basic Grey's new line Paper Cottage along with one of the fun buttons that goes with the line.  The flower shaped button is one from Prima.  Add a little ribbon, Sepia Ranger achival ink, and Wendy Vecchi stamps and there you have it!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, make sure you stop by The Play Date Cafe and show us your take on these super fun colors!

Tanner Bell Designs } Enjoy The Moments

Good morning everyone, today i'm sharing a couple of projects that I created with Tanner Bell Designs to help kick off the super new look to his site.  Tanner is one rockin' kid and I hope his adventure in the craft industry continues for years to come!  Please stop over and take a look at his new site HERE and leave him some love.

Tanner sent me the stamp set Enjoy The Moments to create with.  This set had lots of fabulous sentiments which can work on cards yes, but I also put it to use on a mini album!!  This is the stamp set that I created with.

So up first is a fun little mini album that I created.  One of the sentiments fit PERFECTLY across one of the elements from this Echo Park line. However this is just a sneak for you, hope on over to Tanner's site to check it out :)

Next I used the set for a sentiment on a card and yes you guessed it.  The full card is up on Tanner's site!

So while you are checking out Tanner's new site...make sure you check out his Design Team call that he is having.  I mean who doesn't like to play with stamps????  Not only is he having a DT call, but he is giving a couple of stamp sets away also so make sure you leave him some love.

Thanks so much Tanner for having me on your blog for the new site & stamp reveal, and good luck with everything!

Altered Cake Plate}

Hey there everyone, hope you are all having a fabulous weekend.  The project i'm showing you today is something that I created for a gift for a dear friend at work.  She collects cake plates and Amy from The Scrapbooking Studio ordered this in for me to alter for that special persons birthday. (her mom)  So I can say that I have not altered a cake plate before, and after 7 hours....it was finally done.  Here is a pic of the finished project.  I think I used a little bit of everything I had in my stash...Carta Bella Paper, Maya Road ribbon and bling, Idea-ology embellishments, Ranger ink...you name it and I think it's on there!

Here are a couple of close up photos.

I hot glued Maya Road ribbon all the way around the outside of it.

My idea of the cake topper!

Thanks for stopping by today, hope you enjoy what's left of your weekend!
