Hey there everyone, I just wanted to share my post with you as a Guest Designer for Petaloo!! I was super excited to created with all of their amazing goodies! Thank you so much to the Petaloo family for having me as a Guest Designer!
I know Christmas is over, but you always take so many photos during
the Holiday celebration I wanted to share a fun little mini album that I
created for those special photos. For this mini album I used the paper
collection from Graphic 45 Twelve Days Of Christmas along with the Kraft Envelope Album. You put that line together with all of the amazing Petaloo flowers and WOW...what a beauty!
I of course always love to hang trims and trinkets on the spirals of my mini albums. On this album I used the Fancy Trims ~ Crocheted Lace (green) and a mixture of Graphic 45 chipboard pieces along with some of the metal staples.
The beautiful flowers I picked to place on the cover are Chantilly Collection Mixed Blooms (red/burgandy), Velvet Hydrangeas (red) and Textures Collection Mixed Layers (moss green).
While I was working on my projects for this post the Christmas cards
were coming in the mail. I really didn't know where I was going to
display them this year. I had this basket that was not really holding
anything, so I of course thought....oh this would be beautiful with some
of the flowers on the front, so I did a little altering!
I don't want to even pack this away with all the other Holiday decorations! I'm totally digging the Feathers!! I added some Botanica Floral Ephemera (cranberry), Chantilly Collection Velvet Hydrangeas (red), and also Textured Mixed Blossoms in (ivory).
Now that the busy Holiday season is over the new year will be here
before we know it! I was in need of a new 2014 planner so I created
this one using Graphic 45 Typography & Staples along with all of my Petaloo goodies! I picked up the Typography line at The Scrapbooking Studio along with the Tim Holtz cover that I created this with.
Here are a few close ups for you.
Last but not least, I am thinking of the next Holiday coming up already. I grabbed the new amazing paper collection from Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments and created this Valentine's Day tag. The Feathers were the perfect embellishment to give the angel!! I also loved the Botanica Minis (ivory) on this tag!
Supplies Used:
Petaloo-
Crochet Lace Trim (Green #1482-311 & Paprika #1482-317)
Chantilly Collection Velvet Hydrangeas- (Red #1272-192)

30 Day of Holiday Projects with Xyron } Handmade Tags
Hey there everyone, thanks for stopping by today. This month we are creating 30 Days Of Holiday projects with Xyron. There have been so many amazing projects that the design team has come up with. Today I'm going to share with you how fun, quick and easy it is to make your own tags.
First you want to gather all of your supplies. I'm using Studio Calico paper and embellishments from American Craft that they sent all of us to create with.
I took the pattern paper and cut it into 6x6 pieces. I have a fabulous tag die from Sizzix that worked perfectly, it cuts out 3 different size tags. The die is Tags, Scallop Combo #2. I am going to use one of all three sizes to create each gift tag.
I took the smallest of the three tags and ran it through my Xyron 3" sticker maker.
Using my Teresa Collins Xyron Mega Runner I placed adhesive on half of the back of the medium size tag.
I then started layering the tags on top of one another changing the direction of the tags as I went.
Now it's time to embellish the tags how you want. You can see that I also tied some Twinery Twine through the top of the tag. This will also help if you need to tie the tag onto a gift.
Supplies Used:
Xyron - 3" sticker maker & Teresa Collins Mega Runner
The Twiney - Cream & Solid Peapod twine
Sizzix -Tags, Scallop Combo #2
Studio Calico - Magical Collection
Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Believe } Heidi Swapp & Xyron Swap
Hey there everyone thanks for stopping by today. Xyron and Heidi Swapp are teaming up for a super fun week of inspiration. I was lucky enough to get the cool new Holiday collection from Heidi Swapp Believe! I love this Christmas collection.....the colors and design, not to mention the embellies are simply fabulous!
I created a December Daily for this one. I will share a couple of photos with you. The inside obviously has not photos yet, but I will be journaling away and snapping photos for the month!
Here is what the cover looks like. The cover itself is made from chipboard and the inside I used the Tim Holtz binder. I love the fun glitter borders that go with this collection. You can see I used the paper frames on the front, perfect for highlighting the year! I did a little die cutting with some Sizzix dies for accents in the corner as well.
You can see below day one and two are simply ready for photos!! The Countdown paper in this collection just screams December Daily!!! The Jingle All The Way paper has the most amazing cut outs perfect for journaling spots to put all through your album! I used my Xyron Mega Runner to adhere my photo mats to the pages and the foam squares from the TC Adhesive kit to pop up all of the numbers and images cut from the pattern paper.
The Heidi Swapp banners make great little inserts all through your albums. You can mist them or simply add a saying to them as I have done below.
For the last page I created a tag to insert for December 25th. I'm thinking of making this back page a pocket since I will have tons of photos of Christmas day.
Thanks so much for stopping by today, and a huge thanks to Heidi Swapp for sharing her fabulous products with us to play with!
Supplies Used:
Xyron - Mega Runner, TC Adhesive Kit
Heidi Swapp - Believe Collection, Paper Frames, Banners
Ranger - Distress Ink Walnut Stain

Let It Snow
Good morning everyone, and first of all I would like to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving! Don't be fooled by the title of this post.....I really DON'T want it to snow!!
I have a project up today on the Art Anthology blog, so hop on over and check it out. Here is my finished canvas project.
I started with a 6x6 Deep Edge canvas from Winsor & Newton. The first thing I did was to add a piece of music note paper to it then let it dry. I painted the top part of the canvas with Art Anthology Aloha blue Velvet Dimensional paint and the bottom with the Cotton paint.
While that was drying I cut out of grunge board a snowman and snowflake using the Winter Wonderland die from Sizzix. I put a layer of gesso on the snowman first then started painting. I again used the Cotton paint for the body of the snowman, then added a little Blizzard Dimensional Crystal to it. The scarf was painted with Desire Velvet Dimensional Paint, the arms painted with the Truffle color and of course the hat and buttons done with Tuxedo. The bright orange nose I did by dipping my paintbrush into the Juicy Colorations Spray.
You can follow along and make a canvas of your own by watching this YouTube video!
You can grab everything you need to create this canvas online at The Scrapbooking Studio HERE!
Supplies Used:
Art Anthology -
Velvet Dimensional Paint (Tuxedo, Cotton, Truffle, Desire, Aloha)
Dimensional Crystal (Blizzard)
Colorations Spray (Juicy)
Winsor & Newton - 6x6 Deep Edge Canvas
Sizzix - Winter Wonderland
Thanks so much for stopping by today, have a wonderful time with your families!

Holiday Project with Xyron & Crate Paper
Hello there everyone....we have some amazing projects to share with you this month at Xyron.
TONS of how to's to get the Holiday rolling. Thanks to American Crafts
for sharing so many holiday goodies with us for these projects!
Today i'm sharing with you a fun gift box idea, that will look so cute
under your tree. It's the perfect size to hold smaller little gifts
such as earrings, scratch off tickets, lip sticks...anything small like
that.
First you need to gather your supplies. I used the super cute Bundled Up line and my Xyron goodies.
Step 1 - Gather your goodies. I'm using 3 different size paper mache
boxes, Xyron 3" sticker maker, foam pop dots and 1/4" high tack tape,
Art Anthology Fiesta Velvet Paint, Crate Paper Bundled Up and any
ink for the edges of your paper. Paint the boxes with the paint then
set aside and let them dry.
Step 2 - Cut your pattern paper 1/4" smaller than your boxes for the sides and tops.
Step 3 - Ink the edges of your papers if you like.
Step 4 - Run your paper through the 3" Xyron sticker maker.
Step 5 - Center the pattern paper on the lids and sides of your boxes.
Step 6 - Using your 1/4" Xyron High Tack tape
adhere the bottom of the boxes to the top of the lids. This will allow
you to stack them, but still keep them as gift boxes so you can place
your small gifts inside. Once that is done now it's time to decorate.
I tied some May Arts ribbon around the boxes to make it look like a gift
package. Using my Xyron 3" sticker maker I ran the numbers "25"
through it and placed them along the ribbon. I then used the foam
squares from the Xyron TC Adhesive Kit and popped up the mittens card
along with the little snowman image. I used some Twinery Twine to tie
the Merry Christmas around the bow on the top of the gift box.
Now you have a super cute way to give someone a gift, while using it as a home decor piece until Christmas.
Supplies Used -
Xyron - 3" Sticker Maker, 1/4" High Tack Tape & Foam Squares
Ranger - Walnut Stain Distress Ink
Crate Paper - Bundled up collection
May Arts ribbon
Art Anthology - Fiesta Velvet Paint
You can grab all of these goodies to make this box (minus the boxes) at The Scrapbooking Studio online store.
Thanks so much for stopping by, hope you have a wonderful day!

Thinking Of You
Good morning everyone, I have a friend who is in need of a
little pick me up. I wanted to create a card to send her way and simply
love the colors and design of the Memorabilia collection. I pulled out
the pattern papers and embellishements and started to cut, ink and
layer it up. I tend to not make cards so much but i'm very happy with
how this one turned out.
You
can see in the photo above the gold glitter borders work wonderfully on
the card. Mix that with some seam binding, die cuts, stamping and
flowers....well that gives you one amazing creation.
I used the enamel dots in the two corners to take up some of the open space above and below each gold border.
Directions -
1 - Cut cardstock to 11" x 4 1/2" and score and fold in half.
2 - Cut your base pattern paper of choice to 5 1/4" x 4 1/4" ink and adhere centered on card base.
3 - Cut additional strip of paper for the center of the card. Cut this to 4 1/2" x 2" and center on the card from edge to edge.
4 - Cut any of the border strips to 4 1/2" long and adhere above and below the strip of pattern paper across the center.
5 - Add any embellishments you would like in the center of the card.
6 - Lastly embellish the corners with enamel dots
Supplies Used:
Teresa Collins - Memorabilia collection
Xyron - Mega Runner adhesive
Bazzill - Cardstock
Seambinding
Ranger Distress Ink - Walnut Stain
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today, hope you give this card a try!

A Little Sizzix Fun } Wish Tag
Hey there everyone, thanks for stopping by today. I'm getting in the Christmas mood and wanted to share a tag I created using goodies that I picked up at The Scrapbooking Studio.
I started with a #8 manila tag and did a little inking with Ranger Distress Ink Iced Spruce. I inked all of the edges with a little Walnut Stain. On the right side of the tag I used the Sizzix Edge die Torn Notebook. I placed a couple of ribbons/trims across the bottom and centered a Tim Holtz Christmas word band across it.
You can see at the bottom of the tag I used the Sizzix movers & shapers set Mini Pine Tree & Holly. I cut the holly out of grunge paper and inked it with Ranger Distress Ink Pine Needles. I also cut the tree from this sames set out of grunge paper and inked the branches with pine needles and the base of the tree with walnut stain. Next I sprinkled a small amount of white embossing powder on the tree and heat set it to look like snow. The numbers were cut using the movers & shapers Mini Reindeer & 25 set. I then inked this with Ranger Festive Berries and stapled it to the tag. I placed a Tim Holtz Adage Ticket in a memo pin and stuck that into the burlap.
For the top of the tag I have added a few idea-ology goodies.....LOVE those ice skates! I embellished the top of the tag with some seam binding and the new Tim Holtz trimmings.
Supplies Used:
Ranger - Distress Ink (Walnut Stain, Pine Needles, Iced Spruce & Festive Berries), manila tag #8
Sizzix - Torn Notebook (Edge die) Reindeer & 25 set, Mini Tree & Holly set (movers & shapers)
Idea-ology - Trimmings, memo pin, Christmas word band, tiny attacher, grunge paper
Thanks for stopping by today, you can hop on over to The Scrapbooking Studio online store and grab all of these great things to make this tag. I have linked it all to the online store above in my supply list to make it easy peasy for you!

Stepping Out Of The Box } Art Anthology
Hello everyone I hope you have had a wonderful weekend! I wanted to
share a project I have been working on for Art Anthology. We have recently redone our
living room so I wanted to try something new to hang on the wall. I
have never created a canvas before, so I gave that a shot. I recently
had the honor of meeting Jenn Starr at my local store The Scrapbooking Studio and she shared
some of her amazing canvas creations with me. They were so stunning
that I had to give it a try. Here is what
my canvas looks like right now! I say right now because it's needs
something added to it but I just have no idea what that something is!
I
started with some Art Anthology gesso and covered the entire canvas,
then let it dry. I added a couple of pieces of music note tissue paper
in the corners. Next I grabbed the colors that I thought would go best
in my living room. I'm going for the warm color feel in there....lots
of browns, sierra and i'm trying to add a deep dark red for accents.
On
the left side of the canvas I started with Kenyan Sorbet dimensional
paint. Once I had that sections done I actually mixed in a little
Desire Velvet to add just a touch of red to it. In the middle of the
canvas I painted a section using Portobello Velvet then blended into a
little Truffle Velvet. I let that dry then again mixed a the Kenyan and
Truffle and went over a couple of areas on the right side.
Once
the paint was dry I used one of the lids from the Colorations spray and
dipped it into the Kenyan paint to add circles all around the canvas.
I
grabbed my Mocha Colorations spray and used my new Tim Holtz stripes
stencil and sprayed away. I LOVE the look that added to the canvas!
Well
I had fun working on my first canvas. I don't think it's done yet.
I'm thinking about what else I could add to it, but i'm happy I jumped
in and tried something new and out of the box for me! You can grab all of these amazing Art Anthology products online at The Scrapbooking Studio!
Supplies Used-
Velvet Dimensional Paint - Desire, Portobello, Truffle
Sorbet Dimensional Paint - Kenyan (my favorite color)
Colorations Spray - Mocha
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today, I hope you have a fabulous day!

Vintage Christmas Mailbox
Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by today. I'm excited to share my vintage Christmas mailbox with you today. I created this for a store display at The Scrapbooking Studio in Moline Illinois. For this project I used the new line from Graphic 45 Twelve Days Of Christmas. The colors and the design of this line was the perfect choice for my vintage project. For all of you local ladies you can grab this collection at the store and for all of you out of town ladies you can shop online at The Scrapbooking Studio.
Ok so lets start with a view of the entire mailbox. With the Tim Holtz feet on it the mailbox stands 17" tall. The flap that the mail is in actually opens as well. This mailbox is made out of cardboard and glues together to make this amazing project. For the base paper I ran this through my Xyron Creatopia to adhere it to the box. Here is a view from the side.
A little straight on view for you here.
Now for some close up photos so that you can see the detail. You can see that "The Twelve Days of Christmas" saying on the front of the box I did a little fussy cutting around the image. I also cut out the drum and doves out of the paper and popped them up on the saying. I embellished the right side with some of the Graphic 45 die cut flowers along with some goodies from the staples collection. Everything on this box I inked with Ranger Walnut Stain Distress Ink. The flowers, doves and drum are popped up with Xyron foam squares from the Teresa Collins Adhesive Kit.
I used some Gesso from Art Anthology to give the feet a different look.
The spot on the mailbox at the top where the opening was needed a little something. I created some pinecones using Core'dinations Tim Holtz Kraft-Core Shattered Collection along with the Sizix Tattered Pinecone die. You can also see the Graphic 45 metal pull used to open the mailbox.
Since this is of course a mailbox I needed a couple cards and even a letter to Santa getting dropped in. I used the fun letter stickers from the collection to address the Santa envelope.
Supplies Used:
Graphic 45 Twelve Days Of Christmas Collection, G45 Staples
Xyron - Creatopia, TC Adhesive Kit
Art Anthology - Gesso
Ranger - Walnut Stain Distress Ink
Sizzix - Tattered Pinecone Die
Core'dinations - Kraft Core Collection
Well thanks so much for stopping by today. Hope you enjoy my Vintage Christmas Mailbox as much as I do. Don't forget to grab your goodies at The Scrapbooking Studio to create amazing Holiday projects!

What Time Is It
Hey there everyone, today i'm sharing a fun altered project that I created for The Scrapbooking Studio! It's no surprise that I love Graphic 45 products and couldn't wait to get my hands on the latest lines. I have never altered a clock and see so many cool ones out there and when my friend Gina gave me this one all I could think was.................PROJECT!!!! You can grab everything to create this at The Scrapbooking Studio!
I started by painting the clock with Gesso, then inked it here and there with Walnut Stain Distress Ink with my blending tool. I placed strips of paper along the bottom of the clock using my Xyron High Tack Tape, the front and then had fun with some of the images from the Graphic 45 Typography line from there.
You can see I added some fun Petaloo flowers, a little burlap and some fun Graphic 45 Staples. You can see in the photo below I placed a cluster of Petaloo flowers, Graphic 45 Staples including Chipboard button, metal clothespin & ornate metal key hole. I embellished it with some burlap and a little natural moss.
On the top of the clock I placed a antique metal door pull just above the clock face, then tied a tag with an ornate metal key at the top.
This was such a fun line to play and create with. You can grab all of the Graphic 45 Typography line along with the Staples goodies online at The Scrapbooking Studio.....(free shipping over $50.00)!! WOOTWOOT....grab your fast as i'm sure it won't last long!
