Hello everyone, thanks for stopping by today. I'm sharing a little canvas that I made for my daughter using
Art Anthology, Xyron and a Canvas Corp canvas.
First I gathered all of my supplies I was going to use on this. I used a 4" x 4" burlap canvas, Art Anthology Dimensional Velvet Paint (Pink & Fiji),
Xyron glue stick and foam squares, Wendy Vecchi stamp and Ranger Archival Ink (black)
Step 1 - Stamp lightly on a manila tag with the background stamp.
Step 2 - Paint a light coat of both the paint colors over the tag. Once your tag is covered you can stamp whatever sentiment you want on it.
Step 3 - Using the Xyron glue stick place glue on tissue paper then adhere to the canvas.
Step 4 - Paint your canvas using both the colors that you used on the tag.
Step 5 - I was just curious how this would work so.....I took the pink paint and painted it on some seam binding, then I heat set it. It made the ribbon a little "crunchy" but I liked it!
Step 6 - Now it's time to put it all together. I placed the photo on the canvas using the Xyron foam squares. I then tied the seam binding around the canvas is a couple of bows. Using a Idea-ology memo pin I placed that through the ribbon and cut out the sentiment from the manila tag.
