Snowflake Fun
This is a project I made for Posh Designs. I found these cute wooden snowflakes at the store and turned them into this hanging. I traced the snowflake onto pattern paper, then cut it out. Once this was done I used mod podge to adhere the paper to the wood. After letting this dry I filed the edges of the paper down. To give the snowflakes a little sparkle I put stickles all over them. I used the hot glue gun to connect them together, the did a little decorating. Once all is done I put some ribbon on the sides to hand it up on the wall.

Holiday Gift Container
Okay here is a neat way to package a small gift. It would be great for earings for your kids, or a gift card would fit in it. It's perfect for you scrap exchange. Lots of little embellishments would be tooo cute in it. I found this container at the local scrapbook store. It's about the size of a quart of paint. I wrapped some paper and ribbon around the side of it. Tied some ribbon on the handle and then decorating the top of the lid with some little things. Hope you enjoy!!!

Counting down til Christmas!
Ok.....Soon it will be time to countdown til Christmas! So I made this cool project for the Posh Designs team. I took a clear picture frame from the store. (the kind where the pic just slides in).
First I had hubby drill 4 holes in the top for the rings to go through. Next I painted the sides of the frame and the edges of the numbers. Grabbed some stuff to embelish with and got busy!
for the numbers I used acrylic paper. They are 2 inches wide by 3 inches long. I think that regular transperency paper would work also.
I did a little stamping on the frame to begin with. Staz-on ink will work well for this. After I was done stamping I just started decorating. When I was done this is what I had! A great contdown to Christmas decoration. I think I will be making one that I can use the whole year.

Time 4 a change
Christmas Tree Ornament
Made this ornament as one of my Posh Designs projects. I took a simple paper mache ornament that cost $1. Grabbed my mod podge, some pattern paper, ribbons, buttons, and whatever else I could find and went to town. I cut the stripes of paper into 1/2 x 1/2 inche squares of paper and used the glue to adhere. Once I was all done with putting the paper on I covered the entire thing with a coat of mod podge, added some liquid pearl on the top to look like snow and let dry overnight. Then added all my embelishments and my master piece was done :) This would be a fun project to make with the kids. It was a little messy but not to bad! Now I have a fun, homemade one of a kind ornament for my tree!!!
