Hot glue, Prima Ribbon & Tattered Angels mist

So I have been doing a little playing with ribbon today. I grabbed the hot glue gun , some fabulous Prima ribbon both grey & off white, and my Tattered Angels Jack Frost mist. I used a 1 1/4" circle punch to get a little circle to start my flower on. First tie the end of the ribbon in a knot and place a small dab a hot glue in the center of the circle and place ribbon on top.

Now you want to slowly add a little hot glue around the bottom of the knot, then place the ribbon on top of the glue and just work your way around until you have the flower the size you want.

Once you are done this is what your flower will look like.

I also did this with off white ribbon, except when I was done I used the Tattered Angels Jack Frost mist to add some color to the flower.

I am loving how these flowers look. I'm sure I will be making lots of these!!

Travel fun

Today i'm going to give you and idea for a little travel fun for one of my DT projects at A Walk Down Memory Lane. Road trips can be so long and boring for the kids. Here is a fun way to keep them entertained with your crafting abilities. Check out this fun Tic Tac Toe travel game. Everything you need in one fun container.

Here is a picture of the game inside.

This game is super easy to make. I used one of my empty Maya Road containers, which works perfect for the pieces. I used my Imaginisce I-top tool and the medium magnet daddies for the pieces. Now no matter how bumpy the ride the pieces will never fly around! The paper of choice for this projects wasEcho Park Life Is Good paper and stickers. For an added little flair I also used the Imaginisce I-rock tool to put the bling on the front of the container.

Busy with Echo Park

Hey there everyone, i've been busy creating some things for Madison at Echo Park for the table at Scrapfest. Here are some of my creations you may see there.

The lines I used on these projects are: Everybody Loves Christmas, Happy Halloween, Life Is Good and Sweet Summertime.

Playing With Pink Paislee

I played with a little Pink Paislee for a DT project for A Walk Down Memory Lane. I made this congrats card for my daughter. Love the colors in this new line and the ribbon from the old lines went well with it.

On this card the supplies used are Pink Paislee paper & ribbon. I even used the packaging from the ribbon, it is the white part on the card with the swirls on it. The letters are October Afternoon.

Fun little frame

Well soon it will be time for the little monsters to go and trick or treat. Here is a fun little way to showcase those Halloween photos.

I picked up a flat frame at the store and used some yes paste to adhere the paper to it, did a little inking around the outside and added some stickers and pearls.

A perfect way to display those pictures!

Supplies used: Echo Park Halloween line, yes paste, Kaiser Craft pearls.

Family Fun

Fall is my favorite season, and with the fall like weather we have been having it seemed like the perfect time for a fall layout. This is a picture from one of our cookouts last year.

I used my Kreaxions punch #304 to get the funky boarder look under the picture. The other supplies came from Amy at The Scrapbooking Studio. Paper line is Bella Blvd One Fall Day which is a fabulous line to use for your fall layouts. I also did a little stitching around the paper, and alot of cutting the cute little trees out of paper.
