Our Ride

Layout using a sketch of Stacey's over at Scrap That . Our tradition every fathers day is to Ride the River. A 25 mile bike ride and lots of family time. On the button I used some orange smooch, this was the first time i've used it. Very fun to play with.

Our Anniversary....

So today hubby & I have been married for 12 years and have been together for 15 1/2 years!!! Wow how time flies.....so I was looking through some pictures and found this one of us from 1996!!! Wow have we grown up since then :)

Usually I make huuby a card....however when I do he says "Is this a two for"...meaning did you make this for a challenge, or DT project!!! Well this year I bought him a card instead. Guess what he said....yep....you didn't make me one?????

Forever in Love

Hubby and I very rarely have pictures of us together. This picture was one taken at Christmas time. It seems that one of us is always taking the pictures. So of course I had to scrap this pic! Birthday Wish

Made this birthday card for one of the many birthday coming up in the next two months. There was a challenge over at Couture Cardstock to create a project using at least 2 circles on it.

This Saturday, March 20, we are going to have our very first ONE HOUR Layout Contest!

The contest will start at 9 pm CST (10 pm EST). At that time, the criteria for your LO will be posted. It might be a sketch, it might be a recipe, who knows???

You will have until 10:20 pm CST (11:20 pm EST) to get your LO uploaded into the gallery AND make sure you have it tagged correctly.

At 10:21 CST one random winner for a RAK from Audrey will be choosen! In addition, the DT members will choose one of the entries, and that selected person will be a GUEST DESIGNER FOR THE GROUP OF THEIR CHOICE FOR APRIL!! How fun is THAT????

Your Sweet


SPCC Blog hop challenge.....Use the following colors tempting turquoise, green galore, whisper white, and also "go green"--reuse something.
I used the package from my making memories mini alphas to make this treat bag. I just cut off the top part of the packaging.

Happy Feet


Created this layout using a sketch from sketchabilities (thanks ladies....fabulous sketch), for Croping the 80's Challenge at AWDML. The challenge was to use splatters of paint on a layout since this was a big thing in the 80's.

5x7 frame calendar

I made this calendar using a plastic 5x7 frame for a challenge at Coture Cardstock. Painted the edges, added a little paper, flower, ribbon, and button. The numbers I used acrylic paper and also painted the edges. After they dried I put pattern paper on the back side and used thickers for the numbers. The months are held on by velcro, so I can easily swap them out.

Made this card for the DT at Sketchs4you. http://sketchesforyou.ning.com/ I used craft card stock by stampin' up, cosmo cricket paper & chipboard shapes, and a little ink and ric rak, a punch for the edge. The little arrows were on the paper so I just cut those out along with the turtle.

Challenge #2 Rocking the 80's Crop

This is what I came up with for challenge #2 at A Walk Down Memory Lane Crop. The challenge was to use layers, ruffles (which is my ribbon) and something asymetrical (the sentiment). I used Prima paper & ribbon, rub-on by Jenni Bowlin, craft cardstock, and kiwi kiss & creamy carmel ink.

Our Little House Guest
