A Little Nikki Sivils & Glue Arts Combo

Hey there fellow bloggers, today i'm sharing a couple of projects that has a great combo. Nikki Sivils & Glue Arts! Thanks so much to Glue Arts for sending us some yummy goodies to create with.

Up first I created this tag using Nikki's Messages line. This tag would be perfect tied on a little gift for someone, or even added to the front of a card. On this tag I used the Glue Arts Glider Pro and 3D combo pac to pop up the little star on the upper left and the letters across the center of the tag.

Once again on this card I used the Glue Arts Glider Pro, 3D Combo Pac 1/2" adhesive square. The butterfly is made out of grungeboard and stained with Aged Mahogany & Wethered Wood.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a creative day!

So the next project is a card I created using the Audrey line. This line is perfect for my Mother's Day card.

Altering Fun With Nikki Sivils

Hey there everyone, it's my day for projects over on the Nikki Sivils blog. I have been having fun altering things this month and I have two projects to share with you today.

First up is a project I created using Nikki's Audrey line. Since this is such a special line and close to Nikki's heart, I felt that my first projects should be created for her. I altered some Wendy Vecchi art parts and created this art piece for Nikki to display a photo of her and her grandmother together. I added some burlap buttons, and a little bit of vintage embellies to this.

Up next a super fun way to display phone messages. Once again this is a Wendy Vecchi art part, and of course one of (ok my FAVORITE) line of Nikki's Messages. The colors in this line are super yummy!!! I added a little piece of cork and it's all ready for important messages.

Well thanks so much for stopping by today, hope you all have a wonderful day!

A Birthday Wish for Nikki Sivils

So today is the BIG birthday for Nikki Sivils....yep the BIG 40, or maybe 39 and holding!!! So in honor of Nikki's birthday this card is for her.

So for this birthday card I used Nikki's Exit Here line. I love the fun colors in this line and of course the flowers you can cut out of the paper. What Nikki project would be complete without one of her burlap buttons?? Yep had to use a blue one for this card.

Stop on over to Nikki's blog and give her your birthday wishes!!

A Little Altered Fun } Stepping Out Of My Norm :)

Happy Monday everyone, hope you all had a fabulous weekend. I have been having TONS of fun altering and trying new things lately! Today I wanted to share with you a project I created using some Wendy Vecchi Art Parts. This weeks vintage challenge over at Simon Says Stamp is Show Some Studio 490 Inspiration...so here it goes!! I LOVE how it turned out and had so much fun getting inky!!

So on this project the Art Parts I used were: Not Just Flowers, Borders & Bottles, Sample Pack. I used various distress stains (Broken China, Barn Door, Brushed Corduroy) You can't forget the distress inks (Broen China, Spiced Marmalade, Fired Brick, Vintage Photo) I also have found a new love....seam binding!! I love the fact that you can crinkle this ribbon and change it to whatever color you want :):)

I used a couple of Wendy Vecchi stamp sets on this one also....I mean how else could I get that face on the art part?? The metal embellies are Idea-ology pieces and I used Beacon glass, metal & more to adhere the metal.

I also created this fun little tag as well. The flower was created using the Sizzix Tattered Floral die and some craft cardstock.

Again on this tag I used lots of stains & inks. The ribbon is seam binding, and the embellies are from Maya Road & a Idea-ology button, and the stamps are from Stampers Anonymous.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a fabulous day!
