New Sold Twine from The Twinery!!!

Good morning everyone, we have some AMAZING new colors of twine that we got the ok to share with you this week!!!!  Check out all of these uber fabulous colors!!

Can I just tell you that i'm totally digging the new solid twine!  (Just a note for you.....Solid Midnight Blue & Solid Maraschino are PERFECT for 4th of July projects) :)

So our task this week was to create something springy! I don't know about where all of you live, but here in the midwest our spring has been super cold and rainy for the past 3 days straight!  For my Spring project I created a birthday card for my sister since her birthday is this week.

I thought the flowers made this birthday card a little springy.  The hard part of this card aside from getting a good photos since it has rained 24/7 was picking out which color of the new solid twine I was going to use.  Five of the new twine worked perfect but on this one I went with Solid Pink Sorbet.

Supplies Used:
Bazzill Cardstock
Xyron Adhesive
Echo Park Paper- Here & Now
Ranger Ink - (Archival-Saffron & Distress Ink-Vintage Photo)
Stamper Anonymous- Simple Sayings

Thanks so much for stopping by today, have a wonderful day!

Xyron & Bo Bunny Team Up

Good morning fellow bloggers!  This week the Xyron DT has been playing with Bo Bunny collections!  There are tons of amazing projects, stop over and check them out HERE on Beth's blog where all of us Xyron DT hang out :)

For my project I created with the line Trail Mix.  This line was perfect for me to alter a little something with because I knew my mother would LOVE anything made with this line.  I picked up this wooden plaque and began to get busy!  Here is the wooden plaque before I began creating!

I traced this shape onto a piece of the pattern paper and cut it out.

The next step was to place the adhsive on it.  I simply ran the pattern paper through my Xyron Creatopia and the placed it on top of the wooden plaque.

Once I had the paper on it was time for the fun part of decorating it.  I loved the paper and die cut images with this line.  Here is what I came up with when I was done.
A little close up of the altered tag at the top of the plaque.

Supplies Used:
Xyron - Creatopia, Mega Runner & Adhesive Dots
Bo Bunny- Trail Mix line
Maya Road - Burlap Ribbon
Ranger- Distress Ink (Walnut Stain)

Taggin' It with Echo Park & Graphic 45

Hey there everyone!  The other day the UPS man brought my box of Echo Park & Carta Bella goodies.  The super cool line that Graphic 45 designed Transatlantique was inside.  Today I took it out of the package and started creating with one of the large Graphic 45 tags from the tag album. Here is the finished project!

I inked the edges and the pattern papers with Ranger Distress Ink (Walnut Stain & Vintage Photo).  I then cut out some of the images, popped them up or rolled the paper over.  I added a metal hinge and metal key, along with one of the chipboard pieces from the Staples.

At the top of the tag is where I tied the key on along with making one of the sticker tags into a chipboard tag.

Supplies Used:
Xyron adhesive
Graphic 45/Echo Park Transatlantique Paper
Graphic 45 Staples (metal key, hinge & chipboard button)
Ranger Ink - Walnut Stain & Vintage Photo

Gettin' Inky

Hey there everyone.  Today i'm sharing my take on the Tim Holtz inspired May tag.  I grabbed all of these goodies from The Scrapbooking Studio came home and got busy!

I used the #8 manila tag and of course some of the new uber fabulous remnant rubs. I cut little bits of the rubs apart and placed them around the tag. I was thinking that if I tried to place the sheet down and just rub parts I would have all of the rubs on the tag!

After all of the inking, staining, rubbing & stamping here is how my take turned out.

The color of distress stains I used were broken china, picked raspberry, spiced marmalade & peacock feathers.

I distressed the outside of the tag and when I was done with everything used Walnut distress ink around the out side.

I'm totally loving the new compass coins...the game spinners fit oh so perfect!

On the word charm I used spiced marmalade paint over the wording.  The seam binding soaked up all of the left over stains when I was done with my tag so that none went to waste!  The stamp sets I used were Words For Thought & Air Travel.

Out Of My Norm

Hey there everyone, today i'm sharing a mini album that I created that is a bit "out of my norm"!  With that being said I had so much fun creating this.  I pulled out gesso, paints, hot glue, did a little distressing, and lots of Tim Holtz goodies!  I picked up all of these goodies at The Scrapbooking Studio!

Here is what the finished mini looks like! The mini album itself is made out of corrugated board that I cut down to 6" x 6" in size.  The pattern paper I used is the 8x8 Tim Holtz paper stash Collage. The binding is done with the We R Memory Keepers Cinch.  I tied some ribbon on the coils and added lots of goodies hanging from it.

I did a little distressing and tearing the outside of the papers. I then painted them along with the corrugated board with gesso and started adhering it down.  Once the paper was down I used some Wendy Vecchi embossing paste for a little stencil work in the corners.

I added some gesso along with some Walnut Stain distress paint here and there on the cover.

Here are a couple of close up photos for you.  Loving the new Tim Holtz hinges, Remnant Rubs & Alpha Parts!

On the flower I added a little bit of brown Distress Paint, and a little Gesso on the paper.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, hope you enjoyed my mini album cover.
