This Matters } Teresa Collins Memorabilia

Good morning everyone, today is my day on the fabulous TCD blog!  My creation I will be sharing with you today is a mini album that I created using all the goodies from the Memorabilia collection.  I have to say this I think is my favorite line.  I am so in love with the colors and design of this one!!

So let's start with the cover of the mini. Here is a close up where you can see some of the die cuts, a little border fun, and of course the buttons and enamel dots!

You will notice that I did the binding with the Cinch machine from We R Memory Keepers and used the black coils.  The top coil I always use for adding ribbon or blingage charms on it.  Every page of the album is a fun funky shape which I totally love about this one.

Now let's take a peak at the inside.  The photos inside of this album are matted on white cardstock.  I love to layer all of the fun die cuts on top of each other with this line.  You will also notice the page on the right is simply one of the file folders from the collection.

The envelopes are a great way to store extra photos inside of any mini album.  Simply mat them and add a tab so that they can easily be pulled out of the envelope.

Loving this Document paper from the collection.  It's the perfect paper to journal on (which is my daughter's job in this book)!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Xyron , Graphic 45 & Petaloo Team Up!!!

Hey there everyone, thanks for stopping by today.  It's no surprise to anyone that i'm a HUGE fan of Graphic 45 & Petaloo so when Xyron teamed up with them I was so excited to get my box of goodies from Xyron with the yummy products from Graphic 45 and Petaloo.  After I tore that box open it was time to create.

First up a huge thanks to Graphic 45 & Petaloo for all of the amazing product that you sent us.  For my first creation I altered a fall candle holder that I had picked up from Yankee Candle.  The color of the holder is the perfect fit for a fall home decor piece.  I cut out the saying from the Graphic 45 November Cut A Parts sheet.  I popped that up with Xyron foam squares from the TC Adhesive kit.  Next it was time to adhere all of the amazing Petaloo flowers.  I used Foliage - Dark Brown, Darjeeling leaves medium and Mini Mix cream/brown flowers.  I simply adore how this turned out.

Up next is a fun Steampunk Spells tag.  For this tag I used the new Large tag from the Graphic 45 Tag Album, Steampunk Spells paper & die cuts, Alpha Stickers and a Ornate Metal key.  You will see a couple of Petaloo Dahlias Autumn flowers and some Fancy Trims Paprika.  This tag was put together using Xyron foam squares, 3/16 high tack dots and the Mega Runner.

Next up is a fun way to give a trick or treat bag of goodies.  I alterd an SRM bag.  This bag was decorated using a combination of Graphic 45 paper from Steampunk Spells and Place In Time October Cut A Part sheet.  The Petaloo flowers are Darjeeling Daises Black & Darjeeling Dahlias Autumn.  This was all put together using Xyron TC Adhesive kit liquid glue & foam square dots and Mega Runner.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you have enjoyed my creations.

For my take on this sketch challenge I created a Christmas card.  WOOHOO!!!  Once card down for this Holiday season and only a million more to go :)

My paper of choice was the new Echo Park line Reflections Christmas.  I love the vintage design on this one and the colors.

You can see on this close up photo below that I used the Floral Corner Die to the left center of the card.  Instead of leaving in whole to place in the corner or around something I cut it apart and used it as two separate pieces.

Supplies Used:
Xyron - Mega Runner & foam squares
Die-Namites - Floral Corner
Echo Park - Reflections Christmas

Teresa Collins } December Daily

Hello everyone, Stacy Rodriguez here with you today to share my December Daily that I created with Santa's List.  I know it's only September, but everyone always starts to get so busy in November and December so I thought I would share this with you today so you had plenty of time to get your December Daily finished before it's time to start it!

I love chunky mini albums....and I must say this one is the chunkiest I have made, it is about 5" thick!! All of the pages inside are different sizes to make it fun.  This will be a long post so sit back, grab a cup of coffee and get ready for the Holidays!

So here is a peak of the cover! I used Wendy Vecchi Art Parts for the covers and a couple of inside pages.  I painted them white before starting to adhere paper.  You can see in the pic below that I used a red cardstock base and cut the pattern paper a smidge smaller to get that red border.  The cover is embellished with tons of the embellishments with this line...buttons, enamel dots, brads, chipboard stickers...you name it it's on the cover.  The book is bound with binder rings and embellished with ribbon and some of Teresa's blingage I had in my stash!

Here is a side view of the mini!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, you can head over to the Teresa Collins Design Team blog to see the entire December Daily.

The Twinery "X Marks The Spot" Challenge

Hello there fellow bloggers.  Today i'm sharing my take on the fabulous new challenge here at The Twinery!  The challenge up this week is "X Marks The Spot"!  Make sure you share your creations with us here by September 13th for chance to win some yummy twine! Check it out HERE.

Check out this fabulous prize up for grabs for this one!

I created a card for this one!  I love the look of stitching on projects that I see people create.  Now that being said, I can't sew....it took me 45 minutes once to try and thread a sewing machine.....that's when I knew sewing was not my thing!  On this card I did the next best thing.  I used my Sizzix Tim Holtz pick and made my own hole to sew through (that I can do)!  Here is my finished card.

I love the warm colors in this line and I knew that the Solid Cappuccino would be perfect with this pattern paper.

Here are a couple of close up photos.  I added a few Petaloo flowers and leaves as well.

I placed a few "X" along the bottom left of the card!

Supplies Used:
The Twinery - Solid Cappuccino
Echo Park - Reflections Collection
Petaloo - Flowers & leaves

Thanks so much for stopping by today, can't wait to see your take on this challenge.

Fun With Xyron & Teresa Collins

Hey there everyone, thanks for stopping by today.  I'm sharing a fun way to create your unique bag tag/name tag using the Xyron Luggage Tags.

I gathered all of my paper and embellies that I wanted to use on this one.  I am using Teresa Collins Stationery Noted collection complete with the fun embellishments that go with it.

The first thing that I did to create this was to cut my pattern paper to 2 1/2" x 3 7/8" to fit into the tag.  For the base of my name tag I used the packaging from one of the TC embellishments.  I then cut one of the pattern papers about 1/4" smaller to adhere centered on to the packaging.
I adhered the white pattern paper onto the blue piece using my Xyron 1/2" High Tack Tape.

I then placed this into the luggage tag and began to embellish.  I used the chipboard letter stickers to spell out my name first.  I placed some of the decorative tape around the top and bottom and them placed a brad through the tag in the bottom left corner.  Finally I embellished toward the top with a chipboard sticker, button and enamel dot.

I had a lanyard from one of the CHA shows I attended so instead of hooking it onto my bag, I made a name badge.
