PDCC } 167

SO it's Thursday and you know what that means here on my blog....it's time for the new PDCC color challenge.  This is going to be my last color challenge with the PDCC.  I have loved being part of this team for over a year and the girls on the team are simply fabulous.  I will be keeping my eye on all of you and checking in and playing from time to time :)

Jax of course came up with yet another rockin' color challenge.

Now for my take on that challenge.  My green and yellow colors blended a little to much this week, sorry for that.

Far & Away Mini Album

Good morning everyone, today i'm sharing with you a super fun envelope mini album that I created using Teresa Collins new Far & Away mini album.  You will LOVE this line and all of the new embellies.  Here is the cover of my mini.

PDCC } 166

Time for this weeks news at The Play Date Cafe.  I love when we have a splash of color challenge and that is what's up this week.  Check out the new colors!

Here is a little bit of info on the new designer.......

I'll play with just about any craft material EXCEPT cotton balls. Something about them grosses me out!

Upcoming Classes at The Scrpbooking Studio

Hey there everyone, just wanted to share a couple of mini album classes I will be teaching at The Scrapbooking Studio.

This first mini album is created using Teresa Collins Now & Then line.  This class will be held at the Moline Il locations on Feb 9th @ 1pm.


You can call the store to get your spot or a kit if you can't make it to the class. The Scrapbooking Studio Moline 309-736-7242. This next class will be Jan 27th at The Scrapbooking Studio in Bloomington IL but will be taught at the Moline store soon. PDCC } 165 Plum, Mustard, Rose

Hey there everyone, today it's time for the new color challenge over at The Play Date Cafe.  Loving the colors, Jax does a wonderful job putting them together every week.  This week the colors are Plum, Mustard & Rose.


The prize this week is coming for The Play Date Cafe vault...i'm sure there are TONS of goodies in there. My take on the challenge this week is a fun little tag. For the background I used Ranger Distress Ink (Tattered Rose, Mustard Seed & Shaded Lilac)

Love Mini Album } Carta Bella & Xyron Rock

Hey there everyone....so I have found a new favorite way to make a mini album using envelopes!  I'm soooo hooked on this right now.

For this album I used Carta Bella's Devoted line.  Here are a couple of pics for you.

Check out the use of Maya Road ribbon on the binding :)
I have it tied together with ribbon on the opening side.
As you can see this one is thick, which I LOVE!
Here are just a couple of photos of the inside. I think there are spots for at least 40 photos in this one and tons of fold outs!

I used my Xyron machines ALOT while making this album. There are so many pieces that needed to go into this one it was so easy just running them through either my 510, 250 or even the little pieces through my 150. Some embellies used in this album are from Pink Paislee, Nikki Sivils & Maya Road. Thanks for stopping by! ~Stacy

Now for my take on this challenge.  For the inks I used on the background they are Ranger distress ink. (vintage photo, peeled paint & jaded jeans)  For the stamping I used Ranger Archival ink (sepia, cobalt & olive) The stamp set used is Tim Holtz Mini Ornates.

PDCC 163

Hey there everyone, it's time for the first new color challenge of the year over at The Play Date Cafe and my first tag of the year.

Here are the wonderful colors that Jax put together for this challenge.


There will be a prize from the fabulous Paly Date Cafe prize vault.

So here is my tag for this week's color challenge.



This is a Ranger tag and the distress inks that I used for the background are tumbled glass, spun sugar & spiced marmalade.  The Tim Holtz stamp set was stamped on the tag using archival ink (sepia & jet black)
