Creating with October Afternoon } Cakewalk

Hey there everyone hope your week is going well.  It's been super hot here, so it's a great time to stay inside and create.  I've been playing with of course my Xyron adhesive and October Afternoon's line Cakewalk lately.  Here are a couple of creations that I made after grabbing this line from The Scrapbooking Studio.
Adding some twine from The Twinery (Buttercream) was super easy after running it through my Xyron 150!
I wanted to make a fun little layout.  What better breakfast to have the day after your birthday then cake!!!!

You can do so much with this line and if anyone has any kid birthdays coming up I think this line would be perfect for party favors, invites and simply table decor.  I altered this photo frame to show how you can make a simple little decor piece to place on your party table.

Now how about a little gift tag for the fabulous birthday gift.

And now no creation would be complete without a mini album!!!  So yes I did create another mini album with something fun from Xyron that will be coming out soon, it's a fabulous glue stick.....trust me you will LOVE it!!! I love to use a good glue stick on my chipboard mini albums.  I think I need a CASE of these :) This mini is complete with little pockets to place journaling tags and places for photos.  Here is the cover.

Now for the inside...here you go.

Well thanks for hanging in there on this long post, hope you all have a wonderful day!

On this tag I used distress inks (fired brick, spiced marmalade and the new summer color picked raspberry).  A couple of fun stamps sets from Wendy Vecchi (visions of art, art works, & art parts)  The image and sentiment were stamped using jet black archival ink.

This card was created using the We R line Antholigie.

Rockin' the Nikki Sivils lines

Hey there fellow bloggers, i'm sharing some of my Nikki Sivils projects today.  Up first today is a layout that I created using the Exit Here line.  This is a layout of my daughter and hubby from their first Race For The Cure this year, so as you can see this line can work for any photos.  I added a little pearl swirl from Want 2 Scrap and some burlap buttons.  This layout was created using a sketch from Scrapbook Generations.

Now time for a Father's Day card that I created using the Noah collection and some of the cute little burlap buttons. Love the cute little die cut element with this line.

Boys need their time outside to burn off all the energy that they have.  This layout is just that....Papa Tim and his boys outside playing using the Noah collection.

And last but least a card using the Messages line, burlap buttons, and a little Twinery (Cappuccino)

Well thanks for stopping by today, hope you all have a wonderful day!!
